Two days of blog.

Ok. So apparently ytd I forgotten to blog.. And nth special was on ytd.. But here it goes (in summarised version)

Went orientation for talks (First year experience, campus 101 and student guild). During the interval, I learnt how to fold flower (apparently it looked like a pitcher plant instead of a flower) and box! =))) Ate at the barbie (FINAALLLY!!!) but forgotten to take pictures of it. It was sausages with onion and bread with mustard, tomato and bbq sauce. Went Kardinya shopping after that. Then camwhoring all the way (pictures with ka hang..)... Came back, cooked jap curry, broccoli and microwaved the remaining chicken from two to three days ago(?)...

Taken on the way back from Kardinya.. You don't see these kind of signs around in Singapore unless there's a primary or secondary school nearby... But here, there's no school around here (except murdoch uni...)

So yea.. Today's event...

We went for the student village orientation... And all talks.. Then we had individual sessions with our RAs.. Our group is called Gevillea Gremlins apparently.. Had "icebreakers" and some weird cheering session... Then lunch.. All fried stuffs.. Was pretty delicious.. Haha.. We had meat pie, cheese and potato pie, samosa, spring rolls, fried chicken, meat balls, sandwiches and etc.. Then after a long long time.. We went frementle again..

Oh man, I missed the place man... Then we went to the market.. We brought eggs (which is super cheap.. 2 dozens for $5) and oranges (2kg for $6).. We didn't go to Kailis (spelled sth like that?) to get fish and chip.. Awww... Then we walked along Frementle.. Had sushi roll.. And it wasn't that bad as what people had described.. So yea... =))) Then we went home satisified.. I even got free postcard from Freo market!! =)))

Carmen and I ate the packet of instant noodles John had given me and gosh! its even nicer than the "Xin" instant noodle!! But pity it wasnt spicy.. Aww... But its really good =))

Two more days to the start of school.. And boy.. I am SCARED!!!

Potluck

Ok.. Orientation's the whole day. =((..

Then we had potluck at the Murdoch worship centre... There's really a lot of food... There's lasagne, pizza, puffs, chocolate cake, 'mee fen', 'dong fen', fried rice, chicken curry, very spicy chicken (damn spicy.. so glad that I can taste SPICY FOOD AGAIN!!!! ^^), potato with long bean and egg (finally i can eat long beans!!), mayo egg, tomato rice, tomato egg (my favourite!!!), mashed potato, spaghetti with cheese, fried spaghetti, japanese curry, garlic bread, donuts and a lot more!! They are all super delicious!! =))


I'm still feeling guility about not going karate today... T.T!!!!

Perth City Tours..

Well.. This morning was BMS's Discover and Investigate.. And I found out that unless I do really really well (distinctions everywhere), my double degree, three majors are useless... T.T... So I can really start to bang wall now.. Zzzzz....

Then after that we went to the Perth City Tour led by Janet and Meng.. It was really fun and I discovered Perth is really a nice place to stay.. I wanna live in Perth and not come back to Singapore!!! T.T

We visited Perth City, HarbourTown, King's Park and took a ferry to Perth Zoo. =)) New experience!! =))

Taken when we were at Perth City.. Fountain with sea gulls bathing in it.. Hahhaa.. We also went to take a look at JB Hi-Fi, which is a shop that sells computer stuffs.. And its cheap!!! Wii set with games, remote and all is around A$379!!!! Omg rite!! Then we also went to rock candy shop and we saw how rock candies are made.. In australia, candies are called lollies.. Hahhaa..

After that, we went to HarbourTown!!! Woo Hoo.. Its the place where all the branded stuffs like Adidas and all are discounted!! But due to time constraint, we couldn't shop much.. Hahaha... And in one of the candy shop over there, we saw this:

A golden egg!!! Hahaha.. Its very big!!! Hahahhaa...

This is the bus stop information sign. They have the bus route and the timing of the next bus arriving in how many minutes (as you can see, its 3 minutes before the bus arrive). And its really on time!!! Amazing!!! Oh yea.. FYI, any bus that is a 'CAT' (as in named yellow cat, red cat and blue cat), they are FREE for all riders!!! Cool huh!!! =))) This is what it looks like on the bus:

The Wishing Well which has a very shallow depth.. Hahaha.. Didn't wish for anything though. Haha.. Coz I don't wish for anything much to happen at all.. I'll just accept whatever that comes my way.. Hahahhaa!

This is a memorial fountain dedicated to the people of Western Australia by *squirm eyes* Admiral Sir Frederick.. Its really beautiful.. Wanted to take a sip but due to time constraint and the group leaving me behind, I can't.. Hahhaa..

Ok. This is the real deal for the King's Park.. You see that guy (one of our friend sitting down there.. He can actually speak to someone who is like 500m apart without shouting just by sitting there.. Super cool.. Tried it and it really works!! =)) And this is the actual distance (marked by tiny little red arrows):

And this is the middle part of the 'effective communication without shouting to someone so far away' stand. You can see that there's fire burning in the middle of the fountain.. Its actually to commemorate those who fought in the war... "Let silent contemplation be your offering"...

After visiting King's Park, we went to take a ferry (operated by Transperth) to the zoo where the uni bus will pick us up.. Nothing much to say about it.. Just that it was really a nice ride and no difference as to being in a car or in the ferry.. That's how stable the ferry was.. I think it is a 5-10 minutes ride... =)

Then after that we went back to hostel.. Cooked really yummy food!! There's chicken rice (as in the flavoured 'chicken rice' rice), stir fry broccoli with chicken and mushroom and roasted chicken from IGA. DELICIOUS!! Hahaha.. I MISS CHICKEN RICE FROM UPPER THOMSON ROAD!!!! T.T!!!!!!

Qi Sin.. LOL..

We went to a asian buffet dinner today with the volunteers.. Haha.. Its like A$15.. Haha.. Luckily its paid using the miscellaneous money Carmen and I pooled in.. Hahaha.. And wow.. Its seriously good! Haha.. There's fried noodles, fried rice, honey chicken, sweet and sour pork, mixed vegetable, stir-fried beef with some vegeatable, deep-fried sotong, mapo tofu (FUFU!!!!!!), fish (as in one whole fish), "fresh" cold prawn, chicken wings, rock melon, jelly (which is GOOD) and sago with condensed milk or sth white in colour one... It was nice!! Hahaha.. But I still don't really miss Singapore's food.. Hahahhaha!!

Oh yea.. We went to the oriental shop beside the eatery.. Its damn seriously cool... THEY HAVE FROZEN CHEE CHONG FUN!!! And is those that have fillings one!!!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!!!! We brought it of course (and its A$4...) Hahahha. A GOOD INVESTMENT!!! HAHAHAHA!!! They also sell a lot of chinese food.. Hahahaha!! =)))) I like it!!!

After dinner.. We went to buy bubble tea (I didn't buy it.. Hahaha.. Coz financial status didn't let me have a chance).. Hahhaa.. Learnt some cantonese words.. The "take photo" one I kinda forget how to say it.. But I remember QI SIN!!! Hahahhahaa...

And after the bubble tea.. We played this card game.. The one who got the King card can choose 3 people (random humans) by saying what cards he/she wants and they have to do/act according to his will.. Hahaha.. It was real funny.. Its somehow like a true or dare but there's only dare and you don't know who you sabotage.... T.T.. Such a scary game.. And I ended sabo-ing the three of them..

The 4kg worth of fats in Shu Hui

Pretty much boring today.. Did laundry in the afternoon.. Then facebooking until dinnertime.. Then we started to cook for 7 people namely, Alan and his parents, Sheena, Ka Hang, Carmen and myself.. Cooked up a feast.. There's broccoli, snow peas spouts, mashed potatos with gravy, fish and chips from freo, potato skin with chicken, cheese and mushroom... A lot of stuffs.. As usual, I finished up everything.. Zzzz... And because of the past few days, I gained a bloody 4kg.. Zzzzzzzz... I think I would need to wear a tag bearing my name on it when I go back to Singapore.. Coz I'm sure my family won't recognised me.. Zzzzz...

And from tomorrow onwards, I AM NOT EATING THE LEFTOVERS. I DON'T GIVE A !#*@&@&. Zzzzz....

P.S.: Freo's vegetables are freaking cheap. Should go on every weekend to stock up vegetables from there man...

Murdoch Race

The race is really hahaha. Now I know how my participants for the orientation felt when they have to run from one place to the other.. Hahaha.. I'm soo sorry if I made ur class walked from TCC to Street Soccer Court!!! T.T!!!!

But the race was pretty much ok.. We ran from points to points that are really near to each other.. I'm really complaining inside to myself.. T.T!! I'm sooo sorry to make u guys walked from TCC to Street Soccer Court!!!!! T.T!!!!!

But we got second place in the race.. Pretty ironic since our group practically walked throughout the entire race.. Hahaha.. Only at the end, we got "peer pressure" from other groups that we ran.. Zzzz.. And I was sweating!!!! Zzzzzzzzzz!!!

Then we skipped their bbq to cook for Carmen.. Coz's she sick.. Zzz.. Stupid girl who is sick and insisted to go ice skating and now landed herself into this state.. Zzzz... Sometimes I wonder is this the Carmen I know.. Zzz... And the porridge's nice too.. Well.. there is this thing called the celery inside and i feel its really feel weird to put it in.. But hey.. its nice!! Hahaha.. Probably the north side (Yishun) and the east side (Bedok etc) difference.. Hahaha.. We also garnish it with spring onion.. Hahaha.. The only bad part is that it doesnt have red colour stuffs inside.. Then it will be colourful!!! So i suggested to put in red capsicums.. Of coz they refused la.. Hahaha.. And man.. Although it will really be colourful, I'm sure it will taste weird.. Hahaha..

After that, Ka Hang and I went to Kardinya again to change the light bulbs.. Hahhaa.. Went grocery shopping again.. Hahaha.. Seriously.. I think we have enough to last us for two weeks.. Hahhaa.. Provided we eat bread and ham and cheese.. Hahahaha!! It was fun.. And the weather is like SUPER GOOD.. Its sunny and cold at the same time.. And its really beautiful!! Then dinnertime!! Ka Hang made tomato egg.. which is seriously damn good.. Hahhaa!! I thought i can never eat a tomato egg again after my attachment in DSO.. But.. KA HANG MADE IT!!! Omg.. I'm sooo touched that I can cry!!! =)))))) And I could just like practically lick it off la.. Must learn from her.. Hahha.. So that I can make one myself! =)))

And that's all for today.. And another guy just moved in.. He's called Ivan and he's pretty handsome too.. Hahahhaa!! Seems like I'm really really lucky!! Hahahahhaa!!! =))))

Ice Skating..

Today's the start of orientation!!! Ahhhhh!!! That means school is starting soon!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!

Ok.. Orientation's ok.. Not as boring as what everyone described (you gonna be POSITIVE AND OPTIMISTIC MAN!!!).. And I took notes! Hahahaha!! A bit dumb.. But yea.. hahahahaha!! That's a hardworking Shu Hui for a start.. =))

Their lunch was SUB WAY SANDWICHES!!! And I ate one with lettuce!! *Ewwww* I threw away one olive and I bet there's more inside.. *Gosh!* But it's delicious anyway.. Hahaha.. Maybe I may start to eat lettuce.. T.T!!!!

Then its back to lecture again.. Well.. It was until 3pm that we decided to go back.. (so much so for a hardworking student.. Zzz.. Sigh.. Peer pressure is super influencing.. Sigh..).. Then we went to Kardinya to change the lamps since they are faulty.. Man.. I just dun understand how BOTH of their lamps are faulty.. It's like impossible yea? Hahaha.. Anyway we had great time "shopping" again (it means more money spent... *Sighs!!!!*).. Brought this exfoilating gloves (rmb the epilator incident?). Its to prevent ingrown hairs so that I will have fun exfoilating hairs again! ^^ Hahaha.. Anyway we wanted to eat Chicken Treats but ended up going to the Fish & Chips because of my fault.. T.T.. Then we were wondering why Chicken Treats dun sell Chickens but seafood... Real dumb.. Sigh... What happened to me "observing surroundings"... Zzzz...

Then we rushed back to meet the Murdoch Volunteers for ice skating.. It was fun and I finally learned how to ice skate.. Hahaha.. But during the process, I screamed a lot, almost made Ka Hang and Carmen fall and fell 3 times. T.T Hahaha.. Although its scary with a lot of people colliding with each other and good ice skating zooming around you, it was fun... And since because I went ice skating, I need to eat white bread or reserved food for meals... T.T...

So this is the scary day today.. T.T!!! And I think I managed to talk less than 150 sentences today!!! Wooo!!! Hahaha!! =)))

I miss epilating...

Hahahaha!! Today is the last day to enjoy my slacker life in Perth. Awww.. Today's the start of orientation.. Been having a bad feeling about it.. Sigh.. Anyway I should like start to describe today.. Hahaha!!

Today was ok.. Summarised in short:

Woke up at 7.30am. Went to meet Sheena and Ka Hang. Ate breadfast (bread with ham and cheese; ham is SALTY!!). Brought them to meet P. Bob with Carmen. Went to Library to read books while waiting. Couldn't find the non-fiction section at all =(((. Meet up with them again and went back to help Sheena move out. Can't believe she's in Flat 11!! Its just beside mine!! ^^. Then brought them to Bankwest to set up their bank account. Then ate wedges (A$6.70 for a large portion) and rice with honey chicken (A$5 which is EXPENSIVE!!). Went to Kardinya via bus (since need to activate the transperth card; Sheena and Ka Hang have to pay A$2.40 each to a trip there.. =( Sorry!!!). Brought more groceries and went back. Had dinner (Carmen cooked Ho Fun.. )..

Then the fun begins.. Sheena brought a epilator and we played with it.. Its sooo fun!!! And gosh.. It really really fun!! Hahahaha!!! Its not even pain at all as claimed by magazine!! Hahahhaa!! And man, its really fun!!! And if a epilator falls into my hand.. I shall shave everyone's leg and arm hairs!!! WOooooOO!!!! =))) Gonna buy soon!!!! Heeee!!! And gosh.. I bet we are sooo loud that my roommates are wondering what the heck we are doing in my room.. Hahahhaa.. And this was what happened in summary:
Sheena brought her epilator into the room. The room was silence when we plug it into the socket. Sheena demonstrated for us. The whole room was filled with the razor's sound. It was really scary.. Then.. I became the first blood of the three to try it.. I make sounds but gritted my teeth to try it.. Then Sheena started. "... .... ..... Ok.. Not so bad.. ... ... ... Hey!! Its pretty shiok!! ^^" Then I'm grinning all the way.. It wasn't so bad after all, I thought.. Then Carmen tried it.. When Sheena starts, she yell "Bitch!". Hahahahahaha!!! It was so funny!! Hahahaha.. Then she got used to it.. Hahahhaa... Ka Hang was the last to try it.. Hahhaa... She's so cute la!! She shouted before Sheena starts and still shouting after Sheena ended. Then after all that, she said, "Not so painful.." Hahhahahaha!! Lol!!!

So it ended in me keep using it (coz its FUN!!).. Hahahahaha!!

And yea.. the powerball results are out.. I didn't win anything... Aww... The results is 2,7,12,17 and 18 with powerball 43.. Awwwwww....

So ya.. today's a pretty fun day.. Tried something new! =)))

Blah Blah Blah

Today's a tiring day for me.. So I'm gonna summarised everything in short.

Woke up at 8.30am. Went Kardinya with Sheena, Ka Hang and Carmen. Brought tons of stuffs. Went back ate pizza for lunch (at 3pm plus). Crap-ped around. Returned to respective flats to bath. Came back ate instant mee (they actually do sell korean instant maggi mee here!!!). Talked more crappy stuffs (the traumatising LTC when I was a main com in asc). Everyone went back. Facebook-ing-ed. Tired. Blogging. Going to sleep soon.

Thoughts for today: Thinking of *Taboo word* doesn't get you anywhere. Just forget it and move on. Get a grip of your life man!

Harry Potter and the Long-winded Movie...

Oh man.. Today's tiring... Zzzz...

Went to watch Harry Potter at Garden City with this super huge group of people (around 15 people which I think can be arrested for illegal gathering.. Hahaha..)..

And guess how much the movie cost? A$10.50! And Tuesday is the cheapest? And normally movies cost around A$13 -15?? Is really OMG.. In Singapore, movies that cost $10 will make any normal people complain, but here.. People actually rejoice! Ok.. Not rejoicing but they're happy about it..

Before the movie started, we managed to explore a bit of Garden City.. Its very fun.. Went to the Jay Jay shop, which sells clothings.. Its like Giordano in Singapore, but have a better and much nicer looking range of clothings.. Their slogan tee are pretty funny too.. Hahaha! Then we went around window shopping.. Thank goodness I wasn't in the shopping mood; coz if I were, I would have brought the entire place already! Hahaha!! After that, we went to buy chips and drinks for the movies.. Pretty funny and I learnt something new.. Australians shave their pubic hairs including the leg hairs.. Apparently if you dun shave them, you are not respecting them or something.. So yea.. Hahaha!!

Chips are also real good in Perth. There's Soy chicken flavour, sweet chili flavours from red rock (i tink) and all la.. Can't rmb.. Hahahaha.. Was munching on them during the movie... Hahaha..

After the movie.. we went back to SV.. Slacked around for around half an hour and we saw Sheena and Ka Hang! They finally arrived.. Hahahaha... Helped them to move their luggages to their flats.. And gosh.. Its super far from mine's and Carmen's flat.. The four of us then went back to my flat and cooked spaghetti with broccoli for dinner.. Hahaha.. Ate two serving la... Zzzz... Was so full that I felt like vomitting.. So next time, I gonna keep the remains and eat it for the next meal.. Zzzz... Dun be lazy, Shu Hui!!!

Then thats all for today.. And man.. Im soooo tired!!!!

PS: Looking forward to next week.. We gonna go try out karate class near Kardinya!! ^^

Ugly toad..

Today was a sad day for me... I burnt my tomato rice in the pot.. I kind of stirred the rice a bit too late.. but oh well, at least the base and the side turned into popcorn tomato rice.. The rest was pretty delicious i think.. That got me emo the whole day..

I ended up cleaning the kitchen.. And gosh.. The stove was freaking hard to clean! We had no proper cleaning detergents and rags... So i used my sponge, tissue, cloth and some disposable cloth lookalike thingy to clean it.. Took like a hell lot of time... Zzz.. Then vacuum the entire hallway and lounge.. When I attempted to vacuum the sofa.. I got a shock of my life.. Popcorn from dunno when, pencil, a 10 cent coin, a tag from some clothing are all under the sofa seats.. Haha.. Then I mopped the kitchen floor, cleaned the microwave and all.. But its not as bad as it seemed since one of my roommate is cleaning with me.. Hahahaha.

Dinner was pretty pathetic since I simply refused to cook (as we have alr cleaned it). So we had cup noodle (Macaroni Cheese) and instant soup (tomato, bacon and chili flavour) for dinner.. Watched several episodes of Blood+ at Carmen's room before coming back.. Haha..

So yea.. today was pretty simple.. And tml.. IT'S FLAT INSPECTION!!!!! OMG OMG!!! And tml... We are gonna watch harry potter at Fleo~~~ Wooooo!!!! That is if we can get past the flat inspection.. hahaha... T.T

Julie's the first Master Chef in Aus

Like what the title implies.. Julie's the Master Chef.. But I would like Poh to be the master chef more.. Coz she really skilled and she's very calm.. But awww... At least she made it to the top 2..

Today wasn't really a housewife day.. Carmen and I did laundry in the morning, cook lunch and slack a bit more (was doing my blogskin) and then we played basketball!!! LOL! I actually wore tee shirt and shorts to play. Before I got there, I was half frozen up. Carmen, being the good person as she always was, lent me her jacket. Hahaha.. Its really FREEZING!! Then I bare footed-ly played bball.. Hahaha.. It's a amazing feat, considering the ground is like those road type (gravel i believe they are called that). Thanks to karate, I dun feel pain until the end (like around 6.30pm).. I actually can shoot into the ring 4 times in a row.. Hahahaha!!! But it wasn't in the game.. so ya.. Hahaha!

But I won't forget the promises you kept but its unfulfilled... Hahahaha! I'll do it in Australia. =)

fifth day. the frementle day!

Today was seriously FUN. We went to frementle!! WOoo HoOOoo!!

Took my first bus in perth too.. Number 99 i think.. The bus looks similar compared to Singapore bus.. and WoooOO HooOO! We arrived at Frementle!!

Saw seagulls (mine! Mine! MINE! MINE! MINE! - from finding Nemo) on our way walking to the Frementle Market. The market is similar to our Bugis Street! And its soooo cool!! There is this sales girl selling the toy that is stretchable and can squeeze to form any faces you want (aka from cheeky to sad etc).. Its something like a plasticine where you can do whatever you want. She really really seriously gorgeous hot! Her makeup was those kind of emo gothic but she seriously BEAUTIFUL. If I'm a lesbian.. I will definitely fall in love with her.. WooOO HOoooO!

Then went to Chocolate San Churro to see chocolate.. One piece of small chocolate cost A$1.90! Hahaha.. Wanted to buy but I foresee that a sore throat is coming so no buying for me! =) Then we had FISH & CHIP AT THE FREMENTLE HARBOUR AREA!!! Man! That's is the best! Fish is fresh, Carmen brought 4 people share and we ended up eating it for dinner too.. But seriously, omg, its really really delicious! And you dun have to wait for the food; you ordered your food, they pass you a speaker-like thing (that looks like a walkie talkie) and you sit down and wait for the speaker-like thing to vibrate then you go over to the counter and take the food. ITS SUPER COOL HUH!! Omg! And I'm like in heaven after eating them!! We also brought different sauces (Seafood, sweet chilli, hot spicy chilli and tar tar for A$2.20 each). The sauces are pretty expensive though but the seafood sauce ROXS!!! Omg! EVERYTHING IS DAMN DELICIOUS!!!

Then we wanted to catch a bus back but missed the bus.. So we watch a street performer near the bus stop.. Apparenly that man is super OMG too.. He pretty big sized (most probably ard like 90kg so you can roughly gauge his size) and he managed to squeeze through 2 tennis rackets (one thru his head to toe and the other one thru his feet to head).. ITS REALLY DRAMATIC!!!

Then we went to Kardinya Park to explore.. Found the oriental store immediately (was staring at the kardinya park intensely on the bus to find that shop hahaha) and went in to explore.. Hahaha! Its pretty amazing hahaha.. Brought kailan and GOLDEN MUSHY!!!! Its GOLDEN MUSHY!! OMG OMG OMG!!! But the sad part is that its canned.. Zzzzz.... Nonetheless, its still GOLDEN MUSHY so I brought 2 cans of it.. Hahaha... Went Coles and K-mart to buy groceries and to get the remaining stuffs..

We also brought lottery!!! Hahaha.. Its so funny la.. Juhannes got sooooo excited (and we did too of coz).. Hahaha.. Its 1.95 for 3 games.. Its so damn fun.. hahaha!!! And the best part is the prize is 50 millions! Hahaha.. Not that I have hopes to win it or anything, but it sure was fun writing down the numbers! Hahaha!! =))


After which we went back to hostel..

So slack here and there (watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire).. I swore this is the first time in my life that I have watched TV five days in a row. And this is my first time that I have watch TV for more than 24 hrs in five days!!! Its really AMAZING right? Hahahaha!!

After which, Jovan came over and explore my flat and room. Hahaha. He's nice and he shown me where to go to the lectopia (online lecture download in murdoch), student edge (to be entitled to tons of discounts) and transperth (something like the bus guide and travel guide in Singapore). But I dun like him because he went to paintball this morning/afternoon. And I'm JEALOUS.. Zzzzz... =x..

Tml's gonna be house wife day! Hahahaha!! And yea.. I'm currently working on making a nice blogskin for this blog so I may not be blogging so much unless its like today which is soooo FANTASTIC-ALLY FUN AND ENJOYABLE!! And pardon me if the blog is down.. =)

Fourth day.. Woo Hoo!

Ok fourth day was pretty boring.. But I enjoyed it..

This is the first day that I have slept until 9am. Although I did woke up at around 7am (due to the heat from the sun which I have no idea how it came in) but I fell asleep again. Hahaha!

Woke up, have breakfast and went out to meet Carmen to do the course changing stuff again (but this time it's her). Then we walked outside to the International student office and have a lonnnggg chat with Jovan, Cornelius and Ming. Hahaha. The cold jokes told to us like the microwave and second-hand microwave, the Mexicans' jokes and all were really funny and cold. Lucky I wore three layers today. Hahaha!

After which, we had lunch (diluted jap curry with rice). I ate the entire onion thanks to Carmen, who refuses to eat them.. =.=.. I'm gonna like fart so much later on... T.T... Putting that aside, it was filling although the jap curry is soooo diluted. Hahaha!

Then its slacking around time (which is obviously facebook-ing) until dinner where we cooked again.. Haha.. It was stir-fried broccoli with chicken, canned mushroom (which tasted so damn good), and omelette with rice! Good food yea.. Hahaha.. =)) Yea.. I had lemonade soda with lipton tea sachet (gassy lemon tea!) which tasted good (while Carmen sae its horrible; this girl doesn't know how to appreciate food).. Sigh!! Hahaha!!

The third day in Perth..

Ok.. I should start blogging about my life in Perth as a poor student studying in Murdoch University.

Life in Perth always starts early and ends early too. Haha. You don't see humans out there at around 6.30pm onwards (that is unless they are brave humans)..

So.. This morning, I went with friends to find our Program Chair, P. Bob, to sort out a few things. Got clearance for our Elective, Biostatistics. He also mentioned that Biochem II and Genetics are pretty difficult subjects (and so much for studying biochem and mole gen and mole bio in TP.. Zzz). After that, we went to purchase our SmartRider card and went back to the hostel. Weather wasn't that cold compared to yesterday but nonetheless, its freezing.. Rain for a couple of SECONDS (and yes, its seconds) and we walked back to the hostel...

Then after which I ate my leftover lunch from yesterday's lunch (Baked rice with steak and ham) and attempted to activate the SmartRider and change my timetable. Failed miserably and went to Carmen's HOME to do it.. Haha..

Then we went to the supermarket called K-Mart.. Brought quite a lot of things (pillows, more food like GIGANTIC sausages and a kg worth of chicken thigh, pails, scrubs etc)...

Going back to the hostel with all the stuffs we purchased were tiring and funny. Its the most pathetic shopping trip I have ever been to.. Haha.. Upon reaching the exit of the supermarket, it rained heavily so we got no choice but to wait.. Haha.. Then after the rain stopped, we 'chiong' out from the supermart and with our trolley fulls of items, made our way back. It started to rain half way and I use my umbrella to shelter all the items instead of the two of us. It was pretty pathetic though. The umbrella apparently folded backwards due to the strong wind leaving us
shocked and stunned. Haha. But we recovered pretty fast, laughing at all our mishaps. Haha.
Zzzzzzz......

Went back safely.. Cooked our own dinner and well, it tasted pretty good.. Especially the "popcorn rice" aka "rice that is a bit burnt and had sticked to the bottom of the pot". The "popcorn rice" is made by attempting to cook rice using a pot (mind you, its not a rice cooker) and VOA LA! Popcorn rice.. Its seriously good!! Dinner was broccoli, baked potatos and over-sized sausages and rice and a bit of popcorn rice.. Haha!

And thats all for the third day in Perth.. Hahaha...

1. Make payment for hostel
2. Create bank account (Bankwest - Student + eSaver)
3. Attempt to explore Murdoch University
4. Make student card
5. Purchase a SmartRider card
6. Buy groceries at supermarket.

Things to do:
1. Attempt to take a bus ride down to Fremantle or Perth City.
2. Watch Harry Potter!!!
3. Visit P. Bob at least once a semester (He actually said that. Haha.)
4. Order a OSHC card
